Canine Companions Dogfest Walk ‘n Roll

We spent the morning with the darling dogs from Canine Companions for Independence, where cuddles were plentiful, as were smiles, and our campers and staff all had a fantastic time.

We enjoyed checking out all of the of exhibitors’ booths, though definitely spent the most time at the Canine Companions booth snuggling with the amazingly friendly Assistance Dogs.

After making new friends, meeting a clown and looking at the booths, we found a shady hillside under a tree to eat a picnic lunch while we watched dogs run through an agility course!

Our next stop was Spina Farms Pumpkin Patch, where we had a great time soaking up the Fall atmosphere.

We went on a hay-ride through the sunflower fields, got to pet the farm animals and selected pumpkins to take home! A fun day was had by all! Many thanks to Janet Von Der Linn, Member of the Board & dedicated volunteer, for the beautiful photos!
